had alot of fun today:D video in the morning, courtesy of val. we've all changed so much:\ refer to ziyan's blog for detailsX) haha so anti climax. i was surprised i didnt cry though. hmm. i think qianwen changed the most! :D yesyes.
ohwell. the performances at the hall were... quite okay la. have nth to compare it to seeing we didnt get to watch last year cos we were performing. i wonder how horribly we sang:
the Local Delight uncle and aunty danced! super farnie! i think that was the best performance of all:) it met with the loudest and most enthusiastic applause HAHA.
hmm. oh yes and mdm mak asked about our uniforms:\ asked if we'd like to change and showed us two samples. YUCK okay. YUCK.
apparently our uniform is among one of the most disliked in singapore. well, like i care. at least ppl KNOW at a glance that u are, ahem, from a good/premier/top school. fine im biased, wdv. im used to it(the uniform) alr la. and ppl staring at all. u can almost read their minds: that uniform looks horrible. i used to think that in p6 la. thats why i thought val was nuts when she wanted to come here. heh.
well. our current uni is a sleeveless/capsleeved blouse and skirt right? well. first sample: the same thing, only sewn tgt. WTH. like scgs can. as in. it'll look like sc's uniform. so copycat. the other one was... EEEW. it was this... tank/blouse thing sewn tgt with the skirt. and wear the blouse over. WTH. i know mg's uni is like that but at least it has two colours and SLEEVES so it doesnt look that bad. in fact most ppl dont know they have a pinafore underneath. but OI make us wear liddat?! its WORSE than our current uniform la!
imagine if u spill sth on the skirt. you'll have to take off everything to change can. whereas now u can just take off the skirt... provided ur wearing shorts of course(:
okay. nevermind. our uniform is just sth i feel rather strongly about. hey it could be worse okay? i wont say anything else.
its been raining the whole day:i hardly studied(surprise). went home, read the papers and fell asleep. bah.
